Greetings from the Bahamas. We're having a great time wondering the streets of Nassau. After being on the boat for two days, it 's nice to walk on land again. Being constantly together, though, has been a challange. My laziness and his maniacness has made for some intersting conversation. However, all is well at the Bahama's. The water here is so incredible and the jerk chicken is the best I've ever had.

One week before we disembark. I'm excited. I feel like I'm getting a continuous IV infusion of espresso. The idea for this trip was conceived about 18 months ago. I had no idea we would actually be going. I thought it was another pipe dream (no I don't smoke). We kept taking baby steps in this direction and it became real. It seemed pretty crazy at the time. It still seems crazy. I think I'll be able to relax once I get on the ship.

Today was my last day of work. They threw me a bon voyage party. I wasn't expecting it; It was very sweet. They are a great bunch of people who work well together; I will miss them. I really enjoyed working there. They gave me a travel book, laminated cards with international emergency numbers, a Speedo bathing suit and a card that played Live Life Like Your Dying.

Thank you Salvation Army for picking up my stuff. I'd like to get rid of all of it, but I'm not ready for that yet. Storage will have to do for now. My stuff is the only thing separating me from homelessness.
